Then they face pretty much the same problem they did in 1940/41 and
after the DoW ...
Pretty much all their oil imports were moved in US Tankers.
So, it really matters not whether the DEI is still selling them oil
(and, as noted elsewhere, they won't have the cash to buy it soon,
anyway), they really don't have the capacity to ship it home in the
amounts needed.
