Irrc, Krupp had a controlling interests in Bofors - makers of the
20mm antiaircraft gun, aka the "pom-pom" gun. And the German
Government allowed the manufacture and sale of submarines for export
to foreign navies, with the stipulation that it would be a German Navy
crew which would make the delivery.
