And what, exactly, are they going to do about it?
Traditionally French ships act in a very specific manner when facing the
Royal Navy, they sink...

It's 1985, right now the British forces are on a roll and just looking for
a fight after trouncing Argentina.
Mad Maggie got blown up by the IRA in 1984 and she came marching out of the
rubble, shaking the bricks out of her hair and looking for a fight.
"This is the BBC news and this is reading it.
"Tonight elements of the Royal New Zealand Navy attacked the French fleet
anchored on Toulon. Loss of life is believed to be high, the Prime
Minister and the government has expressed their regrets but said 'Well,
that's life init'.
It is believed that the attacking vessels included three submarines, an
amphibiousault ship and a Royal Marine Commando unit recently
transferred to the RNZN from the Royal Navy.
The Royal New Zealand Navy remains in control of parts of Toulon and the
British government has agreed to act as a mediator if one is required.

erm, I mean, we of course regret the loss of life in this tragic incident,
and wasn't that carrier fragile, erm, no, we deplore all acts of
aggression, especially blowing up ships in harbour, especially civilian
ones, but war ships should always be considered fair game in time of
conflict... Do you know they hadn't changed the approaches hardly at
all..."
We tried to contact a US Navy spokesman and a Royal Australian Navy
spokesman for comments as both fleets have an interest in this conflict but
both were said to be unavailable as 'They're busy changing, they both wet
themselves laughing".
A French naval spokesman said "Merde..."

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Barbeques on fire by the chalets past the castle headland
I watched the gift shops glitter in the darkness off the Newborough gate
All these moments will be lost in time, like icecream on the beach
Time for tea.
