What is your source for these claims?
After the initial problems of the war, which seem to be production more
then transportation in the first three months of 1943 Japan was importing
80% of the pre-oil embargo. Premier Tojo then announced in 1943, that the
oil problems were solved. Of course, he spoke too soon as the USA
submarines showed. |
