??? Would Switzerland extradite him? They're known for granting
asylum. What are their laws on this? And treaties with Italy at the time?
And would treaties have been valid considering the gov'ts in charge?

I'm not so sure. A lot of Nazis did, with varying success. He might
manage it. You're right though, especially Yugoslavia would have wanted
him for war crimes, though they had their own troubles at the time.
