Without getting into it too much, a good number of upper eschelon
Nazis did get out. Mengle was never caught, Eichmann was only caught
after about fifteen or seventeen years. And I recently saw a program
about Bormann that indicates that he died in Uruguay and after a time
was reburied in Berlin. An examination of the mud on his bones didn't
match that found in Berlin but was a perfect match to the Uruguian
graveyard. Yes, Odessa DID get a lot of war criminals out of Europe.
