There are plenty of places on _this_ planet
where I wouldn't recommend drinking liquids
unless they had been exposed to boiling
temperatures for a while, or contained a
quarter or more by volume of ethyl alcohol.
Memories of touring China, with every room
supplied with one of those field-gun-shell-sized
thermoses of boiled water.
