To be blunt, the number of replies is irrelevant. Silence often means,
"Interesting, but I have nothing to add." While posters could actually
reply with that, if everyone did, it would drown out actual discussion.

Here, you actually got a good reply, and basically ignored it. If
someone has gone to the trouble of trying to help you with your
scenario, the least you could do is take them seriously.

What's the content of these responses? From what I've seen, a lot of
them are bashing you. If all that matters to you is the number of
replies, then you really are a troll (regardless of your politics),
because you're wasting time - both your own and that of other posters.
