Completely agree with this. However, I was under the impression, at
least after scanning some internet sites, that some people consider him
to anti semitic. As to the KGB smearing, that was all to real. As to
what Putin's Russia is up too, I'm not familar with modern Russian
newspapers. I shall try to look into it.

Just as a point of refernce, I read one of the abridged versions of the
Gulag archpelago, as trying to read the whole thing is about as easy as
reading "War and Peace". The source of the translation was a college
professor, who had Solzehenitsyn's approval.

Branching out for a moment

But his ideas would make him fit to govern (although I realize in the
real world, he probably couldn't and wouldn't want to). He and
Machievelli deserved to run a country more then say, King George the
3rd.
